Wedding car in Oslo: how to choose the right car for the day
From a Rolls-Royce Ghost to an AMG C63 S – a practical guide to choosing, planning and timing the wedding car.

The wedding car is the first and last image many people remember from the day. Here is how to choose well.
Choose by character, not just badge
- Rolls-Royce Ghost – silence, presence and classic elegance. The safest choice for the ceremony arrival.
- Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid – modern luxury with four doors and room for a dress and suit.
- Mercedes-AMG C63 S or BMW M3 Competition – for the couple who want sound, character and energy in the photos.
Plan the timeline
- 01Collect the car the evening before or early that morning to remove stress.
- 02Build in a 20-minute buffer before the ceremony.
- 03Reserve 15–20 minutes for car photos after the ceremony, ideally in low evening light.
Practical details
- Dress and train: four doors make getting in and out far easier.
- Parking: confirm where the car can stand at the venue.
- Photographer: share the car model in advance so angles can be planned.
- Mileage: 200 km is included on a full day – plenty for ceremony, venue and photo stops around Oslo.
Booking
Wedding dates go early. We recommend reserving 2–3 months ahead, especially for weekends from May to September.
