How to get the most out of your rental

Three simple moves that separate a nice day from one you remember for life.

How to get the most out of your rental

Renting a sports car is an experience you don't forget. But the difference between "a nice day with a fast car" and a day you talk about for years is rarely the car itself – it's the preparation. After several hundred completed rentals, we see the same patterns again and again.

1. Plan the route before you collect the car

A sports car doesn't shine in traffic. Plan a route with flow: Sørkedalen and Maridalen if you have a couple of hours, Tyrifjorden and Krokkleiva for half a day, or Hardanger and Gaularfjellet if you have the full 24 hours. Leave the city early – empty roads, the best light, and the car finally gets to breathe.

2. Match the car to the occasion

Every car in the fleet has its own personality:

  • Rolls-Royce Ghost – weddings, anniversaries and arrivals that should feel quiet and grand
  • Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid – long stages with four people and full comfort
  • BMW M3 Competition and Mercedes-AMG C63 S – twisting roads, sound and pure driving pleasure
  • Brabus A35 AMG – the compact, playful weekend in town

3. Read the terms before you drive, not after

Almost every unpleasant surprise comes from details you could read in two minutes: mileage allowance, fuel type, tolls, deposit and excess. We always go through it at handover, but knowing the framework in advance means you can spend the day driving instead of asking.

4. Book more time than you think you need

The most common feedback we get is "we should have kept the car one more day". Handover takes time, photos take time, and the best roads are rarely the fastest ones. Book the extra day rather than rushing the experience.

5. Document the trip

Take photos and video – both for yourself and for condition documentation. A 30-second walkaround video at pick-up and drop-off removes any doubt afterwards.

Get ready for an adventure – and give yourself enough time to enjoy it.
